About this Blog

My name is Luke, and Subterranean Ether is a blog in which I record my dreams. I had been in the habit of posting snippets, mere snapshots of my dreams, as status updates on my Facebook Wall, but at some point the idea dawned on me to record them more completely in a blog.

So here it is.

I've always been fascinated by the idea of dreams, amazed that we take them for granted so readily. Anything can happen! I have battled space aliens. I have been a space alien. I fly without the aid of propulsion engines. I meet and interact with ancient and powerful things.

I even once proved the Riemann hypothesis.

I'm still waiting for my million dollar prize.

In all seriousness, I simply enjoy the act of dreaming, but I enjoy it far less when I can't remember the awesome stuff I did while asleep. Keeping a dream journal is purportedly a good way to trick your brain into considering remembering dreams an important thing to do, and so I felt that it would be a good idea to try it.

I figure, why not share my dreams with others while I'm at it? Maybe someone can find some measure of entertainment in it.

So read my dreams as I present them to you. I'm just having fun here, but please feel free to comment. Scrutinize them. Analyze them. Let me know what you think. Together maybe we can determine what the secret meaning behind them is...

Just kidding.

Kinda.

Also, the place you really want to be is here.
